If you’ve experienced the rosacea redness that comes and goes on your face you know that rosacea is more than annoying. It’s not like having a pimple or three. If that were the case, most sufferers could deal with it. Rosacea is a bit more serious. When you want to enjoy a drink or some food that you love, rosacea causes your face to become a bright red mess. This is debilitating as it looks a lot worse than just a few pimples.

To deal with this issue, you need to understand the underlying causes of rosacea. Rosacea is a skin condition that causes the epidermis to become inflamed when triggers cause it to flare. Though there may be many foods or conditions that cause the condition to flare, there’s really only one trigger. This one trigger is toxins that your body must cleanse from your bloodstream, but cannot do it in any other way than through the skin. When it is expelled through the skin in weaker areas, such as the cheeks of the face, it causes the skin to become inflamed and irritated – like a rash.

To get a little better idea, think about the times when you eat a little extra garlic. You may notice that your body expels the odor through your sweat glands. Or, think of those who have suffered jaundice. This condition causes the pigment that is normally swept from the blood to show up in the skin, turning it yellow. So, from these examples we can see that the blood is responsible for expelling toxins and that, when your body must dump toxins or excess chemicals, this release of toxins is delivered through the skin.

The reason rosacea usually occurs on the face is because, this is an area of the skin that is the thinnest and has blood vessels very near the surface. When you get embarrassed, your blushing does not appear on your hand. It appears in your face because that is where the blood vessels are more open and the architecture of the capillaries are different than the rest of your body.

Now, to help you deal with rosacea, we need to approach it from two different angles. First, we need to cleanse the liver so that it is not so congested and can do its job of cleansing the blood. To do this, there are several methods. One is Hulda Clark’s method of liver cleansing. This may seem extreme, but the results can be significant. Patients who have done this cleanse have reported positive results. A less extreme method to cleansing the liver is by taking the herbal supplement called Milk Thistle. This will take more time to cleanse the liver, but whether you do this or the more extreme method, taking Milk Thistle regularly is a way to keep your liver in tip-top shape. Of course, do your research first on either method. The main idea is to purge your liver of the congestion that has built up over the years.

The second angle in dealing with rosacea has to do with the external. Cleansing the blood and liver is the internal, but the external is where the symptoms appear. To do this, we need to strengthen the skin in the facial region. This is done by taking the amino acid called L-Lysine. L-Lysine is a cheap and readily available supplement you can find at your local supermarket in the vitamin section. This amino acid helps support the skin like no other supplement, helping it to regenerate skin immediately. Taking the pill form is good, but the topical form can be dramatically helpful as well. Look in the chapstick section to find a Vitamin E and L-Lysine topical ointment. It comes in a small bottle with a yellow label.

Finally, you need to deal with your rosacea by using an all-natural cleanser. Chemicals and other soaps will only cause your skin to flare up. One of the best rosacea skin care support systems is called Zenmed. Learn more about this rosacea support system by clicking here.
